MOTYF 2014 Second International Students' Moving Type Festival
May 30th - June 1st, 2014
The collaboration with german schools resulted in this unique event in Europe.
The festival is composed of workshops, a conference and students’ films projections and is the opportunity to discover moving types in the field of experimental art, movie titles, videoclips and advertising. Professionals and teachers from many countries will share their knowledge about dynamic text. They will introduce visualization concepts based on text in relation to sound. New information tools will be demonstrated in order to generate image based on sound. Students’ works, selected by an international jury will be shown in cinema Muranów, on May 30th at 7 pm. during an open to public show, as well as in the Solec club and at the conference in the Polish-Japanese Institute of IT. The festival is a chance to discover the creativity of young designers – students or freshly graduated.
